Derby De Mayo Delivers Tacos, the Kentucky Derby, Live Music and Dueling Pianos to Fort Myers Brewing Company This Saturday

All-Day Taco Festival on May 3 Features Four Food Trucks, Specialty Brews, Derby Hat Competition and Dueling Pianos at 6 p.m.

[Fort Myers, FL, April 28, 2026] — Fort Myers Brewing Company brings the fiesta to Southwest Florida this Saturday with Derby De Mayo, a free, all-day taco festival pairing Cinco de Mayo flair with Kentucky Derby energy. Doors open at noon on May 3 at the Fort Myers Brewing taproom, with festivities continuing throughout the day.

Four local food trucks will be on-site serving special Derby De Mayo taco menus: King’s Tacos & Burritos, Dynamite Street Eatz, Ro & Co Barbecue, and Don’t Give Up. Each truck will offer items created specifically for the event.

With the Kentucky Derby airing in the afternoon, guests are encouraged to arrive in their finest derby hats and fully embrace the spirit of this dual-holiday event.

Fort Myers Brewing will pour specialty beers, refreshing Seltzer Ritas, and Spyk’d Slushies all day long, a perfect lineup for a perfect afternoon.

Admission is free. While the race may be quick, Taco Fest lasts all day. We encourage everyone to grab their friends, dust off a derby hat, and plan to stay awhile to drink the best beer you can drink in a parking lot, or anywhere.
