Friday night stand-up comedy at Florida Rep continues tonight with Carl Guerra & Mariza Brussolo Headliner: CARL GUERRA entertains audiences with clever observations, improvs, characters, and guitar, without relying on profanity or sophomoric humor. Carl started performing stand-up comedy in the New York metro area as soon as he graduated from college. He honed his craft at clubs such as Dangerfield’s, The Comic Strip, and The Improvisation and has opened for Patti LaBelle, Joan Rivers, Julio Iglesias, Paul Anka, Debbie Reynolds, George Benson, Ray Romano, and Rosie O’Donnell. He has performed nationwide on the college circuit and appeared on television in “Star Search” and “Evening at The Improv.” “Star Search Alum” & Florida’s Funniest Female! Featured Act: MARIZA BRUSSOLO is a stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. She is a 2019 Florida Funniest Female finalist and has performed with touring comedians, Mark Norman, Jimmy Shubert, Jeff Dye, and Kyle Grooms.
