
Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL Receives $5,000 Grant from First Horizon Foundation
Fort Myers, FL – [March 17, 2025] – The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Southwest Florida is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the First Horizon Foundation. This generous funding will directly support the Center’s mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children affected by abuse and neglect, allowing them to share their stories, heal, and thrive with comprehensive support.
The Children’s Advocacy Center is dedicated to offering a trauma-informed space where children and their families receive vital services, including forensic interviews, counseling, and advocacy. This grant will help strengthen the Center’s ability to meet the increasing needs of local children who have experienced trauma by ensuring access to critical resources and programs.
