
American Cancer Society’s Bucket List Bash Surpasses $1.5 Million

NAPLES, FL February 27, 2025 – The American Cancer Society (ACS) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Bucket List Bash, presented by Dr. Richard and Christine Lublin, supported by National Partner Janus Henderson Investors, and chaired by Donna Solimene, raised more than $1.5 million dollars to support our mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Guests united to celebrate 15 years in the fight against cancer, and Jace Yawnick was celebrated as the Hope and Courage Award winner. The Bucket List Bash Hope and Courage award is a symbol of inspiration and resilience in the face of adversity. This prestigious award aims to honor individuals who have shown exceptional strength, optimism, and unwavering courage throughout their own personal journey with cancer or helping others with their cancer journey. At age 25, Jace Yawnick turned his battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma into a powerful movement of hope, using his story to inspire and support others facing cancer. Honored with the 2025 Hope and Courage Award, he continues to raise awareness and rally his community to ensure every patient has access to the care they need.
Since its’ inception, the event has raised $14.4 million to support the ACS’s mission to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
