Noel Painting donates renovation to Valerie’s House in Fort Myers

A Fresh Coat, A Safe Space: Noel Painting Gives Back to Valerie’s House in Fort Myers

Fort Myers, FL (April 14, 2026) – Sometimes, support shows up in quiet, meaningful ways.

That was the case at Valerie’s House, where Noel Painting recently donated its time and expertise to refresh two upstairs bathrooms inside the organization’s Fort Myers “Family is Forever Home”, a place where children and teens come to process grief and find connection after the loss of a loved one.

The project, completed at no cost, was about more than paint. It was about contributing to an environment where families feel safe, supported, and understood during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

“For us, it’s always been about more than the work itself”, Eric Desjardins, CEO of Noel Painting. “If we can use what we do to make a space feel a little more comforting for families going through something so heavy, then it means everything.”

Valerie’s House provides peer support groups and resources for grieving children and their caregivers, offering a sense of community and stability through thoughtfully designed spaces like its Family is Forever Home. Even small updates to these environments can play a meaningful role in how families experience them.

Noel Painting approached the project not only with a team ready to work, but also with the intention of helping share the story behind the space and the impact it has on the community. The company has also expressed interest in continuing to support Valerie’s House through future initiatives.
