Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL Announces Jake Spanberger as Chair of “CAC Reimagined: Written in the Stars” Annual Fundraising Event

FORT MYERS, Fla. – November 17, 2025 – The Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL (CACSWFL) is proud to announce Jake Spanberger, co-founder and Principal of Entech and a dedicated CACSWFL Board Member for more than a decade, as the Event Chair for the organization’s annual fundraising celebration, CAC Reimagined: Written in the Stars.

Set for Thursday, March 26, 2026, at The Alderman House by Mizner, CAC Reimagined: Written in the Stars invites the community to join CACSWFL for an evening of transformation honoring the agency’s legacy while celebrating its reimagined future. The event will illuminate CACSWFL’s continued mission to create a safe and nurturing space where children affected by abuse and neglect can share their stories, heal, and thrive.

Guests will enjoy a night filled with hope, healing, and inspiration, featuring a cocktail hour, live auction, plated dinner, and an uplifting program highlighting the impact of CACSWFL’s programs that serve more than 7,000 individuals each year across Southwest Florida.

“Jake’s leadership and commitment to our mission have been an incredible source of strength for our organization,” said Alicia Shannon, CEO of the Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL. “Having him lead CAC Reimagined: Written in the Stars ensures this event will shine as brightly as the future we’re building for the children and families we serve.”

As Event Chair, Spanberger brings both professional vision and personal passion to the role. “I’ve had the honor of serving on the CACSWFL Board for more than ten years, and I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact this organization has on children and families in our community,” said Jake Spanberger, “CAC Reimagined: Written in the Stars is more than a celebration, it’s an opportunity for all of us to come together and invest in a future where every child feels safe, supported, and seen.”

Under Spanberger’s leadership, the gala will bring together a constellation of community partners, sponsors, and advocates united in support of CACSWFL’s vision of a future where every child’s story is written in the stars.
