In this hands-on lecture, basic and advanced beginner Photoshop Elements techn- iques are explored. Topics include RAW conversion, rotating photographs, layers, straightening horizons, color adjustments, removing or minimizing wrinkles and blemishes, adding or eliminating items from a scene, chang- ing the color of a particular object in a scene, changing from color to black and white or sepia, moving parts of one picture to another picture and add- ing text. Wine Tasting Event: Four California Varietals February 25 | 4 – 6pm | Tuesday Naples Center Pre-registration is required. California produces over 80% of American wines, and this lecture will intro- duce you to the major winegrowing regions, plus samples of four major grape varieties grown throughout the state. As we sample, we’ll enjoy small bites that will help you understand the basics of food and wine pairing. We’ll learn how to read a wine label, and also learn the professional “5-S” approach to sampling wine. This process will help you appreciate the wines you enjoy even more.
