FORT MYERS, FL, Feb. 14, 2019 – The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) will host its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center, 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33913. Ahead of the 2020 elections, FPRA is excited to have Carolyn Tieger, a Reagan White House alum, presenting about public affairs, lobbying and political communications.
Tieger, a Washington D.C. communications professional, is considered one of the top public affairs strategists in the country, especially when it comes to tough legislative issues, corporate and industry crises, litigation and issues management. Tieger’s background includes leading a public relations firm in D.C.

Carolyn spent four decades in the nation’s capital, serving on Capitol Hill in the executive branch, in the Reagan White House, in two international public relations firms and as an owner of her own business.
Carolyn is a recipient of the John Holliman Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications and a National Colby Award for Lifetime Achievement in Public Relations from Sigma Kappa sorority.
