SANIBEL, Fla. (Nov. 14, 2018) – It’s the time of year to be thankful for family, friends and bountiful, locally sourced, farm-to-table food. The Jac Sanibel Island Bar & Grille invites guests to enjoy all of that on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, at the restaurant on Periwinkle Way.

The Jac is offering a preset menu that features a choice of turkey, prime rib or pan-seared salmon. Guests can pick from a variety of mouthwatering sides to complement their entrée: roasted carrots, fingerling potatoes, sweet potato mash, mashed potatoes, roasted cauliflower, grilled asparagus and assorted grilled vegetables. Soup and salad are included with each meal.
Dessert lovers will be in for a treat when they choose from pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin spice cake, coconut cream cake and rum cake. The Thanksgiving Day feast costs $70 per person. Reservations are available for 5, 7 and 8 p.m.

The celebrations continue long after the Thanksgiving meal. The Jac is fully equipped for event hosting. Preset menus are offered for holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, birthdays and more.

The Jac even qualifies as a holiday shopping destination. Gift cards, hats, sunglasses, shirts and Yeti cups for sale at the restaurant make the perfect stocking stuffers. Stunning hand-painted mailboxes by local fine artist Nicole Lomasch are also available for purchase.

The sweetest — and spiciest — gift of all might be one of Harriette’s homemade pumpkin spice loafs. Preorder a traditional loaf for $15 or make it extra merry with a loaded loaf that contains raisins, pecans and assorted nuts for $20.
