NAPLES, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2020) – Stevens Construction has won a Sand Dollar Award from the Collier Building Industry Association for best healthcare project, announced Dan Adams, principal and vice president, south Florida.

In a virtual ceremony held on Oct. 24, Stevens Construction earned a Sand Dollar award in the $1 million to $3 million healthcare category for Frantz EyeCare, located at 2500 Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples. To accommodate their growing Naples clientele, Frantz EyeCare, the design team and Stevens Construction thoughtfully collaborated on a design that aligned with their budget and schedule, provided the aesthetic appeal to the Naples community and promotes staff efficiency, data collection and a unique and comfortable patient flow experience. Frantz Eyecare houses a 9,280-square-foot medical office on the first floor with an optical boutique, 21 exam rooms, patient lounge and procedure room. Situated in the center of the medical office is the cornerstone of the design, a state-of-the-art diagnostic testing room, which evaluates eye conditions and vision capabilities.

Stevens Construction has earned eight Sand Dollar Awards since 2015. Sand Dollar Awards are presented annually to building, design and marketing professionals who have demonstrated excellence within the building industry in Collier County. Entries are judged on unique features of the project, unusual constraints and the how the project addresses the needs of the target market.
