Bryan Blackwell

Bryan has lived and worked in SWFL Florida for the last 29 years and is proud to call it home. Bryan owns and operates a financial planning practice of Ameriprise Financial. The pratice focuses on comprehensive finanical planning, investment advice and estate planning. Although Bryan received his formal education from FSW, he belives he received his real education from his time serving in the United States Marine Corps and Florida Army National Guard. Bryan has been recognized by NAIFA as one of the “Top 4 Advisors Under 40” in Florida as well as a “Top Wealth Advisor in Southwest Florida” for four years in a row by Gulfshore Life Magazine. Bryan previously sat as the Chairman of Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lee County for three years and now sits as a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast Corporate Board. Bryan currently sits as First Vice Chair of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce as well. Bryan recently helped to start and now Chair’s the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Member Advocacy Committee which takes on local issues that face our business community like water quality. Bryan is also a Rotarian and supports United Way. He has previously served other organizations in the past like the Ronald McDonald House, The Vineyard’s Church Soup Kitchen and the American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball where he served on the committee for 6 years. Most recently Bryan helped his two daughters to start their own non-profit organization called The Children’s Foundation for Youth Activities which provides youth activity resources like equipment or scholarships for under privileged children. Bryan believes that being involved and giving back to your community is the truest expression of gratefulness and that your destiny is simply a product of the decisions that you make.
