Sanjay Rajput of RG Architects Becomes Licensed Architect

(Fort Myers, Fla. – July 5, 2022) – RG Architects (RGA) announced that Sanjay Rajput recently became a licensed architect.  He is a Mississippi state college alumnus with a Bachelor’s in Architecture.

“Growing up, I was always interested in breaking things down to look at components.  I would tear apart something electrical, like a hair dryer, and put it back together,” said Rajput.  “As I grew older, I became intrigued with how the components of a building come together.  I am passionate about the creativity of architecture and its impact on our lives.   We are creating a lifestyle and community.”

Rajput has worked with RG Architects since 2019.  He has been responsible for assisting in the development of:

• Building programming
• Design documents
• Construction documents
• Renderings
• Construction administration

He has helped manage projects from design through construction.  He works with the principals to manage construction details and submittals.  He also coordinates with consultants and the contractor.

Rajput says he enjoys working at RGA because of the opportunity to work on large projects in a collaborative studio environment.  “At RGA, the team has more ownership than a typical firm.  We are involved with each project from start to finish and enjoy a fun, family atmosphere.”

Rajput’s project management experience includes:

• The award-winning Heights Education Building
• Bay Beach Commons, an architectural graphic award winner
• The multi-family building for Presbyterian Homes & Housing Foundation
• The renovation of the Times Square Park on Fort Myers Beach
• The renovation of the Fort Myers Technical College

“One of my favorite projects is The Heights Education Building,” said Rajput.  “My elementary school had a courtyard with a glass turtle habitat.  That memory remains with me.  Visiting The Heights Education Building, you can see that the kids love the space and are proud of their school.  The art lab has a roll-up garage door for an indoor-outdoor experience.  There are overhangs for shading and comfortable wood pavers.  It’s rewarding to be a part of the creation of this space that the kids enjoy and will remember.”

Rajput’s pastimes include watching football and playing fantasy football.
