Family Movie Night: The Princess Bride on the Outdoor GreenMarket Lawn

 

Saturday, February 27 • A delightfully postmodern fairy tale and family fun treat, The Princess Bride is a clever, intelligent mix of swashbuckling, romance and comedy that takes an age-old damsel-in-distress story and makes it fresh and fun.

 

Seating is limited and attendees will purchase a pass for a 6×6 square space on our GreenMarket lawn. In order to maintain social distancing, all lawn spaces will be 6 feet apart. A pass for a 6×6 square space is $20 and can fit a group of up to four people. For safety reasons, all reservations must be made in advance.

Saturday, March 27 • A group of young misfits who call themselves The Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on a quest to find a legendary pirate’s long-lost treasure.

Stories of Love: An Evening with Local Storytellers on the GreenMarket Lawn

 

Thursday, February 25 • When was the last time that a story transported you into another world? Join us as our tellers get up on stage and tell their tales of love lost and love gained – all outdoors! Storytellers of the Round Table and The Elephant Showcase Storytellers bring you stories in the oral tradition.

Friday, February 26 • The Rosada Project is Fort Myers’ own premier classic rock band. They will keep you dancing and enjoying their high energy sounds all night. They all work by day around town and play at night serving up solid classic sounds of the 60s, 70s, 80s. The Rosada Project plays a wide range of crowd pleasing favorites from country to motown, rock to reggae.
Mosaic and Stained Glass – Onsite Class

 

Saturdays, February 27 – March 13 • Learn basic glass cutting skills and glass laying techniques to create and generate special, unique mosaic and stained glass techniques! These are relaxed, fun, no pressure, hands-on sessions that allow you to explore a wonderfully meditative art form.

Each and Every Saturday • Our outdoor farmer’s market is loaded with local produce, artisanal foods, edible and landscape plants, yoga on the lawn, live music, art, one-of-a-kind gifts, backyard farming workshops and all the good flavors and good vibes you can fit into your Saturday morning. Plus, there’s plenty of shade, camaraderie and community – the perfect setting to enjoy a bite and relax!

 

Our weekly market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each and every Saturday, year-round and rain or shine and is sponsored by Sunshine Health.
