FORT MYERS, Fla., September 12, 2018 — The Junior League of Fort Myers announces the 36th Taste of the Town will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alliance for the Arts located at 10091 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers, Fla., 33919.

Taste of the Town is the signature fundraising event of the Junior League of Fort Myers and began as a small “French Picnic” at several locations throughout Fort Myers, with members creating most of the menu. Now, local restaurants provide “tastes” of their best dishes at low prices to showcase their food to the public. Proceeds will benefit the volunteer mission of the 50+ year-old service and leadership organization for women. General admission tickets are $10 at the event and children under 12 are free. VIP tickets are $60 per ticket, or a pair of tickets for $100 (savings of $20). Parking is free and is first come, first serve at surrounding business. Signs will designate available parking areas.

“We are thrilled to be hosting our 36th Taste of the Town at Alliance for the Arts this fall” said Emily Frost, committee co-chair for the event. “Taste of the Town allows the Junior League of Fort Myers to share with the community our mission of developing the potential of women in Southwest Florida.”

Joining Frost is a dedicated committee of eight Junior League volunteers, including committee co-chair Samantha Didio, Laura Richardson, Megan Postiglione, Chelsea Davis, Crystal Goetz, Kara Sajdak and Calli Johnson.
