FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 31, 2018) – Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s sixth annual Breaking Par at Grandezza Gala & Golf Tournament in support of the community’s future CEOs and business leaders. The two-day event will run from Saturday, April 21 through Sunday, April 22 at The Club at Grandezza, located at 11481 Grande Oak Blvd. in Estero.
Festivities will kick off with a gala dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, where guests will enjoy delicious cuisine amid entertaining live and silent auctions. On Sunday, the Shotgun Scramble Golf Tournament featuring students from the PGA Golf Management Program at FGCU begins at 8:30 a.m. Then an afternoon luncheon, prize giveaway and awards ceremony will conclude the weekend’s activities.
Breaking Par at Grandezza serves as the primary funding source for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s flagship program, CEO Academy. In partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), the “model” week-long, business school summer camp is held for rising high school juniors and seniors.

In recognition of FGCU’s valued, longstanding partnership, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida recognizes FGCU President, Dr. Michael Martin as the Breaking Par at Grandezza Guest of Honor, who will be attending both the gala on Saturday and the Shotgun Scramble Golf Tournament on Sunday.
Over the past five years, Breaking Par at Grandezza event proceeds have contributed more than $247,000 in funding to support Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s CEO Academy, and its additional programming. In an effort to help prepare students for success in the global economy, the CEO Academy focuses its teachings on business, economics and the value of free enterprise. From a practical standpoint, the CEO Academy also facilitates high-energy team building activities and provides an invaluable professional setting whereby students interact with local leaders.
For local businesses interested in fostering young talent, event sponsorship opportunities are currently available at all levels. Scalable options range from Hole Sponsorships at $300, right up to the premium Title Sponsorship at $15,000.
Tickets for the Saturday night gala dinner are $65, while all-inclusive tickets are $175, which grant patrons attendance at the Saturday evening gala dinner, live and silent auctions, Sunday golf tournament and awards luncheon.
