FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 16, 2018) — Beginning Thursday, July 19, international phonograph expert, John Kurdyla, will provide weekly phonograph presentations at Edison & Ford Winter Estates and at the Edison Ford Shoppe at Bell Tower Shoppes. Presentations will run through the end of August.
Kurdyla has one of the largest private collections of phonographs and Edison memorabilia and is an expert on Edison recorded sound. Presentations will be held every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Music & Movies Gallery in the Edison Ford Museum and at 4 p.m. in the Edison Ford Shoppe at Bell Tower Shops.
From Italy, he has presented his knowledge on 10 Italian National Television (RAI) shows. Kurdyla also is an author and wrote the book “When Music Was Magic,” available at the estates and the Bell Tower store.
