The Last Show

Written & Performed by Derek Lively
Performances are February 16 – 18, 23 – 25 at 7:30 p.m. and February 26 at 2 p.m.
Directed by Bill Taylor

This brand-new work, developed locally and directed by the Alliance’s Producing Artistic Director Bill Taylor, is set in an illegal underground nightclub, in a city where all public social gatherings and all forms of art have been banned.

Derek Lively portrays a performance artist who risks arrest and possibly his life to perform for the first (and last time) in front of his dying mother. With nothing but a few props and a bottle of cognac, the performance artist holds nothing back because this show is unlike any other that he has ever performed.

Directly after the Feb 26th Matinee, Lively will host a special Talkback session.

This performance features adult language and content. Please use Discretion.
