Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Oct. 24 luncheon to discuss Southwest Florida’s growing workforce

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2019) – Business professionals will have the opportunity to learn more about the region’s growing workforce during the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on Oct. 24.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 at Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center, 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive in Fort Myers.
The event will feature a panel discussion highlighting Southwest Florida’s current workforce and some of the organizations working to build and strengthen it through their various programs and educational offerings. Panel participants include Peg Elmore, director of business services for CareerSource Southwest Florida, John Meyer, president of Hodges University, and Todd G. Everly, senior director for SWFL Public Service Academy & Lee Technical Colleges.
The panel will be moderated by Tessa LeSage, director of social innovation & sustainability for the Southwest Florida Community Foundation.
Attendees of the October luncheon will also have a first look at the cover of the 2020 Fort Myers Chamber Magazine the Chamber’s annual business and community publication. Representatives from Vector & Ink will be available to provide more information about advertising opportunities in the 2020 issue.
