Fall Festival at Edison and Ford Winter Estates

FORT MYERS, Fla. (September 8, 2022) – Edison and Ford Winter Estates will host its first Fall Festival on October 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event will include craft vendors, food trucks, music and several fun activities for children.

Activities include the Banyan Tree Climb, which is sponsored by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association. Early registration is encouraged as this activity is expected to sell out. Tickets can be purchased online at EdisonFord.org and are $45 for non-members, or $35 for Edison Ford members.

Families will be able to select and purchase pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch, with the option to paint the pumpkins (paint provided). Other activities include adult and kid-friendly axe throwing and archery, plus children can get their face painted, or get fairy hair. The Wild Wizards will be conducting science experiments and a balloon artist will make crafty animals. Visitors also will have an opportunity to make their own floral bouquets at the flower truck.

There is no charge to stroll around and listen to music; however, each vendor has a fee to participate in the activities and visitors are encouraged to bring cash. Parking is free in the Edison Ford lots. Admission to the museum, laboratory and riverside of the property requires an additional ticket. For information about the site, or to purchase tickets for tours, visit EdisonFord.org.
