In partnership with CareerSource Florida, the Florida Chamber Foundation and Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting skills-based employer focus groups on Tuesday, April 4th, at the Hodges University Fort Myers Campus to support the Florida Workforce Needs Study 2.0 research effort.

These employer-only sessions will help the Foundation:
·       Gain insight regarding current and emerging skills needs,
·       Catalogue best practices in employer-educator partnerships, and
·       Identify ways to maximize utilization of training support initiatives

All learnings will inform strategies and policy recommendations as part of the final report of research findings, to be released in late 2023.

Morning (10:00 – 12:00) sessions:
·       Manufacturing/Construction/Skilled Trades
·       Information Technology

Afternoon (1:00 – 3:00) sessions:
·       Healthcare
·       Professional Services/Business & Finance

If you employ workers within these occupational skill groups, we encourage you to register for a focus group in one or more sessions and help build Florida’s best workforce!
