Note to Media: The water crisis in Southwest Florida isn’t merely an environmental issue. Many local business owners have seen a substantial decline in revenue because of concern over algae and red tide blooms that have plagued our water for months. CONRIC PR & Marketing is one of a handful of area marketing agencies taking part in the #SWFLChallenge to support locally owned businesses that rely on tourism.
Members of the CONRIC team will visit restaurants in Cape Coral this weekend to promote the #SWFLChallenge and encourage others to shop and dine local.
WHAT: #SWFLChallenge, a campaign to inspire people in Southwest Florida to post photos and videos to social media that show them visiting local businesses, restaurants and attractions.
WHEN: Friday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 7.
WHERE: Fathoms, 5785 Cape Harbour Drive No. 106, Cape Coral. (Friday, 4-6 p.m.)
