March 22, 2018 – PUNTA GORDA, FLA – Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) students on the Charlotte Campus will showcase their artistic talents at the Third Annual Cultural Arts Festival on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
FSW student-artists will present their paintings, crafts, music, poetry and creative writing. The community is invited to enjoy the festival and learn how participating students are contributing to the local arts scene.
“The event began in an effort to showcase the artistic talent we have on the Charlotte Campus,” said Natala Orobello, FSW Professor of English. “Each year our student-artists present their unique talents. In conjunction with the Cultural Arts Festivals is our annual Serendipity Writing Contest. The winners will read their poetry or short stories at the festival.”
The FSW Charlotte Campus is located at 26300 Airport Road in Punta Gorda, Fla. For more information, visit www.FSW.edu/charlotte. For more information, contact Professor Orobello at (941) 637-5659 ext. 0159 or at [email protected].
