performing professionally since the age of 16.  Although based
in Southwest Florida, she travels all over the US. Performing
on iconic stages including Levitt Pavilion, The Brooklyn Bowl,
Reggie’s, Blueberry Hill, The Black Cat, and more. She is a
versatile and accomplished vocalist and songwriter. She has
completed multiple national tours with her band, The Free-
coasters, written and recorded 3 full-length albums, and per-
formed on stage with international acts such as The Slackers,
The Aggrolites, Greg Lee of acclaimed ska act, Hepcat, and

Monty Neysmith of Symarip, The Pietasters, and more.

She has shared the stage with Grammy-winning country music
artists and has been invited back to Island Hopper Songwriter
Fest for the past 3 years.  Claire is the creator and producer of
The High Lonesome Sound Songwriter Round, which will be
2 years old this September. Hailing from Virginia, Kelly Neff
brings a uniqueness to the stage with a commanding presence
and engaging performances. Her original music is heartfelt
and covers a wide spectrum of blues, folk, funk, and rock, ad-
ded to creative arrangements of cover songs to deliver a mem-
orable show in any setting.

Her latest album, About Face, follows a personal journey through
resolution, discovery, loss, recovery, and transformation, earning
her the SSA’s Songwriter of the Year for 2016 and 2019.She has
opened for several national acts, including Melissa Etheridge, Keb
Mo, JJ Grey, Kellie Pickler, Ronnie Milsap, The Subdudes, Living-
ston Taylor, The Wallflowers, Marty Stuart, Shelly Fairchild, and
Fastball. She was one of many performers on Melissa Etheridge’s
2018 Rockin’ the Boat Cruise and is set to release a new album by
late 2024.

For more than fifteen years, Kristin Forbes has worn her nom de guerre
Lady Hatchet like a suit of armor, fearlessly following her muse and love
of Jamaican music into the many musical projects and places it has taken
her. Since 2009, she has led the Baltimore punky reggae crew The Scotch
Bonnets as they toured the United States extensively and, on Jump Up
Records, released two albums of her songwriting (an infectious blend of
Jamaican-inspired grooves mixed with American rock and R&B stylings),
as well as numerous singles and an EP in collaboration with HR of Bad
Brains. She spent a month on the Vans Warped Tour in 2011, playing with
Fishbone’s legendary frontman Angelo Moore; that collaboration became
the 2015 album, Ska Do Au Ska Don’t. During the pandemic, Lady Hatch-
et helped to start the all-female ska supergroup Rude Girl Revue, which
features members from some of the hottest ska bands on the East Coast
(Stop The Presses, Hub City Stompers and more) and is now an outlet for
some of her most feminist songwriting yet. She also produced solo Lady
Hatchet singles, 20 episodes of a livestream variety show called A Slice
of Hatchet, and developed her acoustic act which, along with new inter-
national attention generated by the livestream show, lead to a solo Euro-
pean tour in 2022, as well as a Midwest solo tour and her first Nashville
showcase in 2023.

Katie Lyon’s musical journey began in the serene landscapes of Southwest Florida,
drawing inspiration from artists like Brandi Carlile and Jason Isbell. Now based in
Charleston, South Carolina, she blends indie-folk and country to craft songs that
resonate with life’s emotions. With genuine authenticity, Katie’s performances strike
a chord with audiences, inviting them on a journey through love, loss, and shared ex-
periences. Through her music, she shares her own stories and those of others, remain-
ing true to herself and inspiring others to do the same. Katie’s upcoming EP “Bounce
Back,” set to release on April 16th, was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville,
TN, promising to be a heartfelt addition to her musical repertoire.

See performer, Kelly Neff, perform her original song, Retrograde.
