As a reminder, we offer FREE workshops for nonprofits and government agencies each semester (including summer) to learn more about how to create (or deepen) a partnership with FGCU. The workshops are always 9am-1pm, with the last hour as a networking time over a light lunch. We always receive very positive feedback from attendees and usually have between 50-75 people in attendance.
This is intended for all nonprofits and government agencies (including FGCU offices and all public K-12 schools), whether or not they are already in our Service-Learning Community Partner Database. We typically see a good mix of both new people and returners. This workshop will include information on getting the most out of your partnership with FGCU.
Deadline to register is Friday, February 28th, 2025 at 11:59pm. Please note: Please register with the email address of the individual attending the workshop as this is the email we will send event confirmation and details.

Important announcement: Community Engagement Day at Eagle X is Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 8am-1:30pm at Alico Arena!
WE NEED YOU – to attend, evaluate, and help determine this year’s winners!!!
Community Engagement Day @ Eagle X serves as an opportunity for FGCU students to showcase the amazing service-learning projects they engage in and the impact they have in the community each academic year. This annual event has always been the LARGEST showcase of student service-learning projects presented on campus and aims to highlight and honor the most outstanding individual, class-based, and student organization-based service-learning projects each year. Community Engagement Day also serves as a moment of inspiration for all attendees as it highlights the strong relationships built between the university and our communities.
Use THIS LINK to register to judge for one or both sessions!
Send THIS LINK to the students/groups you are working with to encourage them to submit their projects for consideration!
