For the 19th consecutive year, Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice, Purtz, Smith & Smith is partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation to bring holiday cheer to children in need. Toys will be collected through Dec. 15, when they will be picked up and distributed by Toys for Tots to approved local social welfare agencies, church groups and other organizations.

In 2024, Toys for Tots made a significant impact across Southwest Florida:

• Lee County: 40,724 toys distributed to 30,036 children
• Collier County: 33,719 toys to 7,732 children
• Charlotte County: 12,638 toys to 2,657 children.

Coordinators will pick up the toys and store them in central warehouses, where they will be sorted by age and gender. At Christmas, coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups and other local community agencies, distribute the toys to the less fortunate children of the community.

The public is invited to bring new, unwrapped toys for children from newborn to age 12 to any of the five Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice, Purtz, Smith & Smith offices. In addition, members of the firm also donate toys for the drive.
