Florida SouthWestern State College Hosts Instant Decision Day

Featuring Admissions, basketball doubleheader, and scholarship giveaway

JANUARY 20, 2026 – FORT MYERS, FLA. – Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) invites prospective students and their families to attend Instant Decision Day on Wednesday, Feb.18, at 4 p.m. at the FSW Suncoast Credit Union Arena, 13350 FSW Pkwy., Fort Myers.

This special event gives attendees the opportunity to receive an instant admissions decision by meeting directly with FSW admissions representatives. To make the process even more accessible, application fees will be waived for students who apply during the event.

Instant Decision Day also coincides with an exciting FSW Men’s and Women’s Basketball doubleheader. Fans are encouraged to show their Buccaneer pride during a PURPLE OUT. Wear purple to the game and cheer on FSW athletics.

Admission to the games is free for high school students and their families (up to six people in total) with a valid student ID or driver’s license, making this an ideal outing for students exploring their college options.

In addition, all event attendees will have the chance to enter to win a $500 scholarship, adding even more value to an afternoon of college planning, school spirit, and community engagement.
