Community Cooperative Announces New Partnership with Cape Coral High School
FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 27, 2026) – Community Cooperative, in partnership with the Lee County School District and Cape Coral High School, is launching a new monthly Mobile Food Pantry to provide free emergency groceries and vital resources to individuals and families facing food insecurity in Cape Coral.
The Mobile Food Pantry will be held on Tuesday, February 3, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Cape Coral High School, 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33991.
This initiative is designed to remove barriers to access by bringing nutritious food and resources directly into the community. Pre-registration is not required; attendees need only bring a government-issued ID to receive assistance.
“Partnerships like this strengthen our community,” said Jada Langford Fleming, Board Member, Lee County School District. “Community Cooperative is doing the critical work of bringing emergency groceries, fresh produce, and essential resources directly to Cape Coral High School, ensuring district families and employees have dependable support when they need it most. We’re grateful for their leadership and proud to stand alongside them each month to make a meaningful impact.”
“We know many families today are navigating incredibly difficult circumstances, and access to nutritious food is a fundamental need,” said Stefanie Ink Edwards, CEO of Community Cooperative. “This collaboration allows us to meet people where they are and provide support at a time when it matters most. We are thankful to Cape Coral High School and the Lee County School District for opening their doors to help care for our community.”
Community Cooperative encourages residents, partners, and community leaders to help spread the word to ensure families in need are aware of this ongoing resource.
